Repeat of the 2021 Bundestag election: Federal Electoral Committee will establish final result on 1 March 2024
WIESBADEN/BERLIN – The Federal Returning Officer reports that the Federal Electoral Committee will establish the final result of the election to the 20th German Bundestag at its meeting on 1 March 2024. In doing so, it will take into account the results of the 2021 Bundestag election that was repeated in parts of Berlin on 11 February 2024.
The meeting, which will be open to the public, will be held at 11 a.m. in Berlin in the Marie-Elisabeth Lüders Building of the German Bundestag (entrance Adele-Schreiber-Krieger-Straße 1), Room 3.101 (follow the signs for “Anhörungssaal”).
Access to the German Bundestag and press accreditation
N.B.: Media representatives wishing to attend the meeting of the Federal Electoral Committee require valid accreditation to enter the buildings of the German Bundestag (www.bundestag.de/akkreditierung).
All other visitors will be required to pass through security screening before entering the Bundestag buildings and present a valid form of identification. Please bring your valid identity card or passport. As checks may take some time, please plan accordingly.
The meeting will be broadcast live on the internet at www.bundestag.de. On the following day, it will be available in the Bundestag media library at www.bundestag.de/mediathek.
