2021 Bundestag Election: agenda of the Federal Electoral Committee meeting on 5 August 2021

WIESBADEN – In its meeting on Thursday, 5 August 2021, the Federal Electoral Committee will decide on the complaints of parties against the rejection of their Land list and the deletion of a candidate in the relevant Land. The agenda of the Federal Electoral Committee meeting comprises the complaints of the following parties entitled to lodge a complaint (in alphabetical order of the Länder):

  • V-Partei³ - Partei für Veränderung, Vegetarier und Veganer (V-Partei³) against the rejection of its Land list in Baden-Württemberg
  • Basisdemokratische Partei Deutschland (dieBasis) against the rejection of its Land list in Berlin
  • diePinken/BÜNDNIS21 (BÜNDNIS21) against the rejection of its Land list in Berlin
  • Alternative für Deutschland (AfD) against the rejection of its Land list in Bremen
  • FREIE WÄHLER (FREIE WÄHLER) against the rejection of its Land list in Bremen
  • Piratenpartei Deutschland (PIRATEN) against the rejection of its Land list in Bremen
  • Liberal-Konservative Reformer (LKR) against the deletion of a candidate from its Land list in Hessen
  • Ab jetzt…Demokratie durch Volksabstimmung Politik für die Menschen (Volksabstimmung) against the rejection of its Land list in Nordrhein-Westfalen
  • Land returning officer of the Land of Nordrhein-Westfalen against the admission of a candidate on the Land list of the Marxistisch-Leninistische Partei Deutschlands (MLPD) in Nordrhein-Westfalen
  • BÜNDNIS 90/DIE GRÜNEN (GRÜNE) against the rejection of its Land list in Saarland

The meeting, which will be open to the public, will be held in the German Bundestag building in Berlin, Marie-Elisabeth-Lüders-Haus (entrance Adele-Schreiber-Krieger-Straße 1), room 3.101 (Anhörungssaal), on 5 August 2021 at 10 a.m. As the meeting will be broadcast live at https://www.bundestag.de, its public nature will be ensured in view of the limitations imposed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
