2019 European Election: persons entitled to vote by Land

WIESBADEN – 64.8 million people will be eligible to vote in Germany in the 2019 European Election to be held on 26 May 2019, approximately 60.8 million of whom are Germans and roughly 3.9 million other Union citizens living in Germany.

Most of the 64.8 million people entitled to vote live in Nordrhein-Westfalen (13.8 million), Bayern (10.2 million) and Baden-Württemberg (8.5 million). The Länder with the smallest number of eligible voters are Bremen (0.5 million) and Saarland (0.8 million).

Most Union citizens entitled to vote live in Baden-Württemberg, Bayern and Nordrhein-Westfalen (roughly 0.8 million in each Land).
